Project manager
We are looking for a project management specialist to join our award-winning team. The right person will have an excellent level of understanding of project management, client interfacing skills, and have a working knowledge of online media, web design, and development. Projects will include working with potential clients interested in Ellington, our web content management system, managing portions of projects, understanding contract terms and conditions, providing initial support, giving demos for Ellington, and working with the division director in achieving business and marketing goals. A sound understanding of web technologies coupled with skillful client management is a necessity.
Your portfolio should demonstrate your successes, showcasing attention to detail, problem-solving, and documenting projects you were a crucial part of.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have 4 year degree or have special experience and qualifications.
- Ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and sell concepts.
- An understanding of the principles of journalism, convergence, and the Internet.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with all types of direction from a diverse staff.
- Understanding Internet technologies.
- Ability to create, direct and multi-task effectively under pressure.
- Relentless attention to detail and great enthusiasm for work and continued learning.
- Proficiency with applications used on and for the web.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and skills.
Responsibilities
- Work on various projects across the company's assets in print, online, and television.
- Work with division director on achieving business and marketing goals.
- Work with complex, content heavy content management systems and associated technologies.
- Work in collaborative team environment on all projects.
